Jesse brings over 20 years’ experience in the United States and Canadian medical cannabis industries.
He was a founder of one of the first Canadian federally licensed facilities, Whistler Medical Marijuana Corporation (WMMC). He has also been involved in medical marijuana facilities in Ontario, Washington, California, Massachusetts, Maryland, Arizona and Illinois.
In 2014, McConnell and his team were hired to develop the first Certified Organic Growing Standard for the Cultivation of Medical Marijuana (ISO 17065). Jesse holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master’s degree in Philosophy.
Margaret brings over 18 years’ experience in finance, of which 10 years were spent with KPMG. She spent 6 years in London, UK, working on global client accounts such as Diageo PLC, Honda Europe and BHP Billiton PLC. While at KPMG she was a member of the UK emerging leaders program and active in thought leadership publications. Subsequently Margaret worked at the Augusta mining group (companies included Ventana Gold, Augusta Resource, Riva Gold, Arizona Mining) in the public markets and acted in a corporate development role and CFO for several listed companies including a series of public transactions.
Margaret holds a CPA, CA designation, a Certificate of International Business and Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Bryan Disher, CPA, CA, ICD.D is a retired partner with PwC Canada and has 38 years of experience with the firm’s practices in Canada, Australia and Ukraine. He has assisted companies with public offerings in Canada and the United States, acquisitions, financial reporting, regulatory compliance and governance. He’s also served on the Board of PwC Canada for eight years, including a term as Chair, and is currently on the Boards of Balmoral Resources Ltd. and Lexington Biosciences Inc.
John Pigott is the CEO of Club Coffee, a leading Canadian roaster, contract manufacturer and distributor of packaged coffees. He is also the President and CEO of Morrison Lamothe Inc., an independent Canadian Food & Beverage processor. Pigott is committed to creating eco-friendly products and Club Coffee was recently awarded the Loblaw Companies Limited Corporate Social Responsibility Supplier of the Year honor for the breakthrough technology behind the new President’s Choice® certified 100% compostable coffee pods. Pigott has been an active force in his community for almost 30 years and has served on numerous private company and industry boards, task forces, and associations including the Canadian Association of Family Business, the University of Ottawa—Faculty of Administration and the Young Presidents Organization.
David Donnan, P.Eng., MBA is a leader in the global food and agriculture sector with over 30 years of experience working in consumer products, technology and retail industries. A partner with A.T.
