Rubicon Organics’ mission is to grow the best cannabis on earth and for the earth, and today we are doing just that out of our state-of-the art greenhouse facility located in Delta, B.C. We’ve recently started trading on the TSX Venture Exchange, expanded out partnerships with big names such as PAX Labs, and announced a Product Supply Agreement with German medicinal Cannabis distributor canacur GmbH. Our growth is as tangible as our products, and we’ve only just begun. 

We are recruiting an Operations Assistant that is self-driven, highly adaptable, confident and will help us deliver our mission and have a big impact in this high growth and exciting industry. You will facilitate the flow of people in and out of the facility and be responsible for general administration of the greenhouse operation. 


  • Welcome people to our site
  • Provide general administration & clerical support of the Greenhouse Operations (mailing, courier, scanning, copying, printing, meeting minutes, document organization, scheduling, booking travel etc.)
  • Orient visitors and contractors with site rules and unforeseen safety risks relevant to that day of operation
  • Execute the employee, contractor and visitor sign-in and orientation processes for security
  • Conduct COVID medical screens for everyone who comes on site.
  • Manage site calendar including booking rooms
  • Support events for the site
  • Office supplies orders, orders for the facility and house
  • General communications to the company
  • Support Director Engineering with ad hoc requests
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must be a self-starter – there’s no shortage of work to be done, so we’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait around to be told what to do
  • A passion for organization and administration, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle a variety of projects simultaneously
  • The ability and openness to take on a lot of different tasks
  • The willingness to take on tasks that they see as less than desirable
  • Next-level organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly; you’re able to quickly and effectively solve problems that arise
  • Experience with MS Office suite of products and general office equipment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The successful candidate will be expected to receive a background check as part of their employment
  • The successful candidate will need to have a reliable vehicle to access the Delta facility (very limited transit for site access)
