Supply Project Manager

Innovation is at the heart of our strategy for growth as we bring a range of new and exciting products to market. We are seeking a Supply Project Manager, who will be responsible for leading the supply commercialisation of innovation product through the supply chain in a compliant, timely and structured way.

We are looking for an outstanding Supply Project Manager who is passionate about exceeding both external and internal customer expectations and leaving a tangible legacy:

  • A self-starter with demonstrated proficiency in time, organization, and project management, with the ability to initiate action, proactively anticipate challenges and work within regulatory and process frameworks
  • A person with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively at all levels of management

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, deliver and execute packaging projects with structure, organisation and process
  • Contribute to and own process development and implementation for innovation across business and creating and embedding best in class commercialisation tools / templates and capabilities with Supply Innovation
  • Maintain management system records for packaging specification files ensuring/recording packaging requirements, specifications, and quality standards
  • Source compliant primary, secondary and tertiary packaging products in response to marketing/innovation briefs
  • Stay on top of all packaging trends in and out of the cannabis industry
  • Add to knowledge of cannabis packaging regulations and implications for packaging projects and apply in a compliant way
  • Create and apply compliant product and customer data to existing systems, new products and customer specification in a timely manner
  • Work across the supply chain to ensure that all functions are engaged and informed in the project, know their inputs and responsibilities and hold accountabilities
  • Create and maintain work alongside the packaging manager and supervisor to run production / line trials to assess packaging suitability / performance under various conditions
  • Collaborate with artwork - Working with graphic designers to build compliant artwork, (In line with marketing and branding schemes) and leading through the internal approval process (maintaining all files for future use). On-line press approvals when required
  • Interface with key suppliers, internal project teams and key stake-holder management 
  • Work across arrange of projects identifying the interdependencies, conflicts and opportunities for prioritisation, consolidation and efficient working

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Demonstrable evidence of a record of project management delivery in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) environment
  • Understanding of packaging and related considerations in leading commercialisation project
  • Understanding of how to interpret and apply regulatory data
  • Proactive self starter, able to manage their own work
