We are on our journey to achieving our vision to be the global brand leader in organic cannabis: Our state of the art hybrid greenhouse in Delta, BC is now fully operational and licensed; we have just planted our new outdoor grow site; we have recently received our Sales license; we have launched our first Canadian brand, Simply Bare Organic to rave reviews; we are about to move from 2 to 16 products in the next 3 months, and we have an innovation pipeline of over 50 products in the next 12 months. 

We are recruiting an outstanding hands-on, energetic, focused and detail-oriented Sales Analyst to drive sales of the internal and external sales teams by delivering actionable insights.  This is an opportunity to build your legacy by creating, maintaining and running the data and insights platform. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing multiple sources of data providing insights, reports and recommendations to the Market Strategy and Planning Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

TOOL DEVELOPMENT

  • Build the commercial insights platform using Excel and Power BI
  • Build and maintain applications used by the Field Team being the first support for resolving any errors/issues and communicate required actions to stakeholders
  • Create, update and implement sales templates for both internal and external sales forces to drive efficiencies across the team and support accelerated growth
  • Create and update templates and executive summaries to track core RO initiatives
  • Develop and prepare regular (daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc) distribution and sales reports
  • Build, maintain and run weekly commercial KPI reports
  • Continuously measure Third Party KPIs and results
  • Provide information and tools to support Third Party Sales Agency with items such as custom surveys, sell sheets, etc.

PROCESS AND IMPLEMENTATION

  • Train new hires on tools
  • Support Market Strategy and Planning Manager with the development of quarterly field KPI’s
  • Ensure timely adherence and completion of reporting requirements and collate for Market Strategy and Planning Manager

MAINTENANCE

  • Perform any required updates to the field system and reports in line with any updates to measurement criteria.
  • Support general maintenance of the field system to ensure all required fields are filled in correctly and communicate required actions.
  • Facilitate data formatting as required by tool specific data formats
  • Execute duplication maintenance
  • Execute customer segmentation maintenance
  • Maintain and update any required changes to the tools – new customers, SKU’s and budgets

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret data, collating relevant information and presenting in a meaningful report with actionable recommendations
  • Analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities in data and translates them into meaningful sales/ productivity initiatives
  • Achiever who is deadline driven and has excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to manage a varied and complex agenda on a daily basis and deliver against tight deadlines
  • Executes plans with the end user in mind
  • Communicates persuasively to win support whilst being tactful and diplomatic
  • Gives constructive, actionable feedback to help people improve their performance
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced, quickly evolving role
  • Expert in Microsoft excel and power point
  • Sales/Commercial experience beneficial
  • University Degree (business, statistics, mathematics)

This position will report to the Market Strategy and Planning Manager and will be based for the majority of the time in Vancouver BC and once a week in in Delta BC.
