Inventory Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Inventory Coordinator to help us deliver our mission and have a big impact in this high growth industry. Purpose of the Inventory Coordinator role:

  • Be the face of the supply chain team on the production floor, storage and logistics areas
  • Model quality and excellence in everything you do to show our production team what great looks like
  • Partner with our production team to drive the continuous improvement of our processes


Tool Development

  • Build & maintain internal data tracking tools using Excel and PowerBI
  • Create and update templates and summaries with production team/stakeholder input
  • Build & maintain dashboards to interpret data from production processes
  • Identify gaps in inventory control and build solution-based models with available information

Process and Implementation

  • Onboard and train staff on created tools and processes
  • Assist in designing processes and systems for new products
  • Create and train staff on cycle count procedures for inventory management (biologicals and consumables)
  • Assist processing and packaging teams in management and usage of seed to sale software

Maintenance & Auditing

  • Daily audits of employee data entry on tracking tools against system/count data. Enter audited data into summary databases
  • Daily review of processing and packaging events to ensure accurate data logging and acceptable variances
  • Report discrepancies and root cause investigations
  • Maintain and change existing databases based on manufacturing or management decisions
  • Support general maintenance of the field system to ensure all required fields are filled in correctly and communicate required actions

Inventory Reporting

  • Assist in month end inventory counts (preparation and execution)
  • Perform daily check ins with processing and packaging teams
  • Assist in month end inventory reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Perform weekly cycle count reports for consumables and finished goods


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment and on your feet for entire shift
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attendance and safety record
  • Flexibility and adaptability to take up additional duties and cross train
  • Attention to detail is required, any experience managing data would be considered an asset
  • Competent using MS Office applications, as well as the ability to quickly learn new software and instruct others on their use
  • Comfortable working under close & minimal supervision
  • Previous experience in a inventory role within the food, pharmaceutical, natural health products, nutraceutical or cannabis industries would be an asset
  • Proven analytical & creative thinking, and adept at solving problems

The successful candidate will be required to submit a criminal record background check. A vehicle is also required to access the Delta facility, with limited access to transit available.
