Consequently, we are recruiting an outstanding Demand Planner to lead our critical data based forecasting and business planning functions. Purpose of the Demand Planner role
Partner with the sales team to define, design and deliver the optimal sales forecasting model for a portfolio of super premium cannabis brands in Canada on a rolling 12 month basis
Partner with the Sales planner to lead the S&OP meetings to ensure that the marketing plans & sales forecast is translated into an efficient supply plan that can be delivered on time in full, and when necessary manage mitigation activities for supply disruption.
Partner with the innovation team to ensure all new innovation launches are planned effectively with accurate forecasts from the sales team.
Create systems to manage awareness of inventory in the entire supply chain (from finished goods to customer inventory
As a key member of the sales team, support the Market strategy and planning manager with business analysis to enable better results.

Required Skills, Experience and Academic/Educational Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in demand planning/forecasting ideally in CPG or other fast paced industry.
- Proven analytical & mathematical thinking, and adept at solving complex problems
- Ability to collaborate in multifunctional teams
- Used to fast paced multi sku industries, with aggressive innovation pipelines and complex supply chains
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; ideally in statistics, maths or economics
- Previous cannabis or Liquor experience an advantage
This position will report to Market Strategy and planning Manager and will be based in Vancouver, and will require 10% time for work travel to supply operation sites in BC Canada.
