Rubicon Organics current business comprises of a portfolio of proprietary and licenced premium brands, 2 state of the art cannabis cultivation assets in Washington and Canada, a pilot scale lab in Washington and a licensed packaging business in California. We are recruiting an outstanding New Business Opportunities Manager, to help us optimise our existing assets and expand our operations into new territories or categories. Purpose of the role
Identify strategic opportunities in North America and overseas, where Rubicon Organics has the right to win, and then tenaciously run down the opportunity through excellent project management, analytical and relationship building skills.
Lead cross functional teams to execute against your project plans to deliver the opportunities at pace.
Be ready to step in at any moment, to lead or support an area of the business that can benefit from your talent and expertise, before handing back the work to the operating team at the appropriate time.

Required Skills, Experience and Academic/Educational Requirements:
- 5-10 years’ experience in new business strategy or FMCG operations.
- 5 years’ experience leading cross functional teams
- experience financially modelling business opportunities and P&L
- Proven analytical & creative thinking, and adept at solving problems
- Used to managing projects with budgets < $10m
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Majors in business, economics or finance is an advantage
- Previous cannabis or FMCG experience an advantage
This position will report to President North America and will be based in Vancouver, and will require approx 25% time for work travel across US, Canada, Europe
