Rubicon Organics US business comprises of a portfolio of proprietary and licenced premium brands, 2 state of the art cannabis assets in Washington (operated by licensed producers), and a contract manufacturing business in California. We are recruiting an outstanding Vice President to lead the full business and P&L to deliver against our aggressive 2020 consumer, customer, JV partner and P&L goals. Purpose of the VP role
Lead and inspire all stakeholders (Rubicon team, JV partners, Licensed partners, customers) to deliver the business plan and P&L’s for our portfolio of super premium cannabis brands in Washington and California
Partner with Rubicon’s global marketing & innovation team and also our licensed partners to create and execute a rolling 3-year innovation pipeline of consumer brand and format concepts for our Joint venture partners to launch
Manage the capital budget and team to build or maintain our core assets
Find suitable global or regional super premium cannabis brands for future license deals

We are looking for an outstanding Leader who wants to leave a tangible legacy:
An agile, hands on leader, with a passion for leading the team (employees and JV partners) to deliver & exceed targets
Ability to inspire and level with the entire organization and partners, from bud tender to CEO.
Ability to manage complex data and relationships, adept at closing multimillion-dollar deals, whilst simultaneously leading daily execution of a complex supply and value chain.
A leader who wants to deliver a broad business impact, through their participation and contribution to the global executive leadership team, to propel the entire organization forward.
Required Skills, Experience and Academic/Educational Requirements:
- 15 years’ experience in marketing, Sales or operational leadership.
- 5 years’ experience leading cross functional teams
- Ideally experience managing an entire operation and P&L
- Proven analytical & creative thinking, and adept at solving problems
- Used to managing budgets > $10m
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Majors in business, economics or finance is an advantage
- Previous cannabis, Liquor or beverage business experience an advantage
This position will report to President North America and will be based in Seattle / Washington state, and will require minimum 25% time for work travel across Washington state, California, and British Columbia.
